Week in Review: Town Gives Miller's Ale House Green Light

Miller's Ale House Gets Town's Approval to Build
Miller's Ale House can now officially start construction of it's new Commack restaurant. 

Smithtown Town Board approved plans for Miller's Ale House to take over the former Grill 454 location off Veterans Highway and Sunken Meadow Parkway at its May 23 meeting. The first step of construction will be demolishing the former Grill 454 building. 

Chico's Coming to Mayfair
There will be one less empty storefront this summer at the Mayfair Shopping Center.

Chico's clothing store will take over the 2,971 square feet of empty retail space between Rite Aid and New York & Company.

Workers at the site said that the store is set to open at the end of July.

Does Mayfair Need More Traffic Lights?
One of the concerns regarding a potential new restaurant at the Mayfair Shopping Center is traffic safety.

There is a stop light at the main entrance where the Mayfair sign is, but there are several entrances to the shopping center that are without.
