Weekend Guide: Free Outdoor Concerts, "13" The Musical
Head out and catch some of the hottest events happening in or near Commack this weekend.
Head to downtown Northport for a free outdoor concert at the foot of mainstreet every Friday at 7 p.m. Miller's Crossing, a bluegrass singer/songwriter, will perform on July 27.
The music continues Friday evening as presents its fifth concert of the season. The Nick of Time with Ron Vulpis will fill Main Street with the sounds of 90s, pop, rock and country as they take to Russ Savatt Park at 7:30 p.m.

Fresh Food at Farmers' Markets
Pick up fresh fruits, vegetables and more at one of the area's two local farmer's markets including the one ats, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., or at Sundays from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
SoLuna Studios of Hauppauge presents its production of "13" the musical, a grown-up story about growing up as a teen is forced to move from New York to a small town in Indiana aftre his parents divorce. Catch it before it closes at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $20.

Eagle Scout Kevin Chaves will host a food drive to collect healthy food and snacks benefiting the Gerald J. Ryan Outreach Center's "Healthy & Fit" kids program at Waldbaums in Commack from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
