Weekend Planner: Broadway Plays Come to Commack

Check out these five events happening in or near Commack this weekend, Nov. 17 - 18.

 

Are You Game? 
Join other fans of Bridge and Mahjong at the Commack Public Library on Friday, starting at 1 p.m., for a game.  

The Crucible
SoLuna Studios of Hauppauge presents Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," a historical play based on the events of the Salem witchcraft trials, on Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20.

The Producers
STAR Playhouse at the Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center will present Mel Brook's Broadway comedy "The Producers" on Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $22, $19 for Y members or $17 for seniors, $15 for seniors with Y membership.

Farmers Market

Women in the Military
Celebrate Veterans Day by visiting the Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center's exhibition "Women in the Military" featuring artwork, photographs and personal items from women who have served our nation. Exhibit is open daily, 6:30 a.m - 9:45 a.m. through Nov. 17.
