Weekend Planner: Cougars Homecoming, 5K Walk/Run

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
Join Boy Scout Troop 125 for hot buttered pancakes smothered in maple syrup this Saturday, from 8 a.m. - noon, at Commack United Methodist Church. Cost is $5 per person.  

Red Ribbon 5K Walk/Run
The Commack Coalition for Caring will host their annual Red Ribbon 5K Walk/Run on Saturday at Commack High School. A half-mile Fun Run for children will be held at 8:30 a.m., followed by the race start at 9 a.m. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

Family Adventures at Caleb Smith
Take your family out to explore natures wonders with Family Adventures at Caleb Smith State Park on Saturday. This week, "Plundering Pirates" will tell an interesting historical tale while giving your family clues to a treasure hunt. Reservations required. 

Commack Homecoming Parade
Line up to watch Commack's cheerleaders, marching bands and sports teams come together in a display of hometown spirit at the Commack homecoming parade at 5 p.m. Saturday. Parade starts at Burr Intermediate School and ends at Commack High School.

Commack Homecoming
The Commack Cougars varsity football team will take on Half Hollow Hills East at 7 p.m. Saturday for their homecoming celebration and last home game of league season. There will be special homecoming festivities before, during and after the game.
