Get in the spirit of Halloween with this series of satirical one-act plays by playwright and producer Steve Strangio at Soluna Studios in Hauppauge on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Plays will include Savage  Hot Babe Massacre, Mad Pixie, X-Boyfriend, and My Date with a Zombie: The Musical. Tickets are $20.

Multi-Family Tag Sale
Hunt for a bargain at the multi-family tag sale on Saturday at Bethany Drive in Commack, started at 3 Bethany Drive - 12 Bethany Drive. It will be held weather permitting.  

Annual Harvest Fair
Celebrate the fall at the nearby Commack United Methodist Church's annual Harvest Fair on Saturday, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be a boutique, bake table, white elephant table  and more. 

Park Shore Country Day Spooktacular
The nearby Park Shore Country Day Camp will be hosting its 2012 Spooktacular on Saturday, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be a Halloween corn maze, hayrides, a haunted house, bounce rides and more. Raindate is Oct. 21. 

2nd Annual Shana Kay Memorial Run
The Suffolk Y Jewish Community Centerwill host the 2nd annual Shana Kay 5K walk/Run on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. - noon. The run is held to help the Suffolk Y JCC assist parents with the cost of daycare at these economic hard times. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. with the race start at 8:30 a.m.
