Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Families can have breakfast with the Easter Bunny this Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Applebee's in Commack. For $10, enjoy pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and a beverage to benefit the League for Animal Protection of Huntington, Inc. 

Long Island Bulldog Rescue

Learn about the Long Island Bulldog Rescue, which has a mission to provide education, prevention, intervention, and adoption services to ensure that all English Bulldogs enjoy long, healthy lives in loving, safe, appropriate homes where they are provided the life-long care they require. Head to Petco at 30 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Commack, on March 23 from noon until 3 p.m.

New York Towers Basketball Game

On Friday at 7:15 p.m., New York Towers, an under 5-feet-tall basketball team, will verse Commack High School's students and staff during the New York Towers "Below the Rim" Tour in the school's main gym. Tickets are $5 per person at the door. Checks can be made out to CHS PTA in an envelope marked “CHS PTA Basketball Fundraiser” to Commack High School, One Scholar Lane, Commack, NY 11725. Winter Farmers Market

The Suffolk Y JCC in Commack is home to a winter farmers market. Regional producers offer fresh products including vegetables, herbs, fruits, honey, jams, baked goods and cheeses among other products. The market is open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Sundays.
