First Friday Night Flick
Join the Commack United Methodist Church for a showing of "The Nativity Story" with free refreshments as part of their First Friday Night Flick series on Friday at 7:30 p.m.  

Fire & Ice Candles
Let your family explore Caleb Smith State Park and all it has to offer during "Fire & Ice Candles" on Saturday, from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Learn how to make a unique candle for yourself or as a present for someone else.

Adoption Day at Petco Lake Grove
Looking for a new pet? Want to adopt a rescued dog? You might want to check out the dogs up for adoption via Last Chance Animal Rescue and Petco in Lake Grove. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

A Charlie Brown Christmas
SoLuna Studios in nearby Hauppauge presents their production of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" bringing your favorite Peanuts characters to life  at 3:30 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. Sundays through December. Tickets are $20 per person.

PB&J Drive 
Commack Boy Scout Troop 125 will be holding a peanut butter and jelly drive outside of King Kullen Shoprite on Saturday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. All donations will go to the Commack United Methodist Church's PB&J Gang who makes sandwiches the first Saturday of each month to give to the needy.  

Hanukkah Family Night
The Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center will hold Drum Tales, an interactive drumming story that takes the audience back in time to enjoy the first Chanukah, on Sunday from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
