- Commack Relay For Life Kick-Off
Relay for Life of Commack will celebrate its Kick Off event on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at Commack High School, at 7 p.m. The event will not only start the cancer fundraiser, but will celebrate the teams dedicating themselves for the Relay for Life experience.

- Rotary Blood Drive
The Commack-Kings Park Rotary Club invites residents to make a donation at its semi-annual blood drive at Kings Park High School, 200 E Main St., Kings Park, NY 11754, on Thursday from 2:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
- Commack School District Board of Education Meeting
There will be a public Board of Education meeting on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. at the Hubbs Administration Center, 480 Clay Pitts Rd. East Northport.
