Wi-Fi Hot Spots in Commack

These free wi-fi hot spots will allow you to connect a computer to their network for free. Many do not have time restrictions and some don't even require you to agree to terms and conditions.

Are you a recent graduate looking to get out of Mom and Dad's for the afternoon? Or are you looking for jobs and need to use a website to do so?  Check out these wi-fi locations that allow you to be plugged in while on-the-go.

Many of these locations not only work with a computer, but also with an iPad, iPod, e-Reader or other wi-fi enabled device. So grab a latte, sit in a comfy chair (or at a sturdy table) and soak up the rays, wirelessly of course.

Starbucks Jericho

The Starbucks in Jericho recently added free wi-fi to their menu. They have big desks, bright, open windows, cool air conditioning and delicious treats, refreshed hourly. Their wi-fi sign in page requires you to accept the terms and conditions and then shows you a bunch of Starbucks' factoids on their homepage. Starbucks also carries Lucy's gluten-free cookies, a treat for all with allergies.

Starbucks East Northport

If you happen to live on the Huntington/East Northport side of Commack, this may be your Starbucks. They have the same amenities as Jericho, however, they have a larger seating area if you're coming with a group.

Panera East Northport

Panera in the Center at East Northport has free wi-fi as well – they do limit the amount of time you can use the wi-fi, particularly during the lunch rush. Between 11 p.m. and 2 p.m. they limit wi-fi use to a half hour per patron. You can sign on again, but it will kick you off after another half hour passes.

Barnes and Noble East Northport

The Barnes and Noble has a Starbucks Café, free unlimited wi-fi and doesn't require you to sign in or approve terms and conditions. It also allows you to use your Nook – Barnes and Noble's e-Reader – or other e-Reader on their network. If you have their app, you can also preview books online while in the store on any compatible device.
