During Marilyn Monroe’s first trip to London to film “The Prince and the Showgirl” with Laurence Olivier, she befriends an ambitious 23-year-old assistant director of the set. When her new husband, playwright Arthur Miller, makes a brief trip to Paris, the young man takes the opportunity to introduce her to the world outside of Hollywood fame.
