Musicians Unite to Benefit Autism

Commack's Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism among charities to benefit from Performing Artists for Autism Education Inaugural Concert.

A Commack charity has been chosen as a beneficiary of Performing Artists for Autism Education Inaugural Concert, a live fundraiser happening on March 18.

The concert, which will take place at 8 p.m. and the Landmark Theater in Port Washington, features folk rock musicians Peter Case and Joe Iadanza. The cause is close to Iadanza’s heart, as he has a relative affected by the disorder.

Proceeds from the concert, founded by The Mosaic Foundation for Autism, will be given to Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism, which provides life-long support and education for individuals living with Autism. The Commack-based organization provides resources to help those with Autism function better in everyday life. They are one of three charities that will benefit from the show.
