One Commack teen got a taste of the spotlight on Sunday, as she competed in MSG Varsity's Talent Show.

Samantha Sclafani, a Commack High School sophomore, was one of eight teens in the tri-state area to land a spot in the competition's Female Vocalist category.

Contestants in each of the Talent Show's categories compete for the chance to record a demo CD during a two-day studio session with professional producers and a photo shoot with hair and makeup styling.
