5 Places to Cater Thanksgiving Dinner

If you're in need of some last-minute items for your Thanksgiving feast, fear not. We've compiled a list of local restaurants and caterers offering prepared meals and dishes for the big day.

Customers can select from a variety of meal packages for Thanksgiving, or go the a la carte route and choose everything from partially frozen turkeys to hams that serves up to a dozen people, classic sides like mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce and of course, pie for dessert.

Those who are looking to go out for dinner can also dine in until 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Those looking for a less traditional take on Turkey Day can opt for the Latin fusion flavors of Perfecto Mundo, located in the Northgate Shopping Center. All catering orders are overseen by chef/owner Liz Keschl and can be tailored to your specifications.

St. James restaurants and are taking orders for Thanksgiving catering until Tuesday, and orders must be picked up by 8 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Eric Lomando, owner and chef of both locations.

Sides like sweet potatoes, baked mac and cheese, mushroom risotto and mashed potatoes are just a few of the sides offered at this Kings Park caterer. Need a turkey? They have that too. Plum Crazy is still taking orders up until Tuesday, but they must be picked up by Wednesday, they are closed on Thanksgiving.

Fireside is offering an array of packages to fit every budget and size as part of their special Thanksgiving menu. Whether it's an intimate dinner for two or a 25 lb. turkey feast, they've got it. Want just the turkey? That's not a problem either. They're also offering a selection of fresh baked pies.
