7-Eleven Construction Begins in Commack
New connivence store coming to Veterans Highway and Harned Road.
A new 7-Eleven store is coming to the corner of Veterans Memorial Highway and Harned Road in Commack.
The Smithtown Town Board unanimously approved the site plan application Aug. 15.
The plan includes to demolition of an existing 1,708-square-foot filling station and the construction of the proposed 2,250-square-foot retail building.
There are three other 7-Eleven stores in town, including two on Jericho Turnpike and one on Veteran's Memorial Highway, about a mile from where the new one will be.
Construction is already underway at the site.
