There is one less pizza place in Commack.
Campa Pizzeria in the Northgate Shopping Center has shut it doors.
Windows at the pizzeria were covered up Thursday and construction work could be heard from inside the building. Customers said that the owner sold the business, but it is not yet known what will take over the space.
While Campa has closed, there's no shortage of Italian options in Commack. For those looking to grab a pie or slice, there are more than a dozen pizzerias in town including Emilio's, Paradise, La Scala, Anthony's Coal-Fired Pizza, Lorenzo's and others.
