Christmas Store Opens Friday in Commack

Everything Christmas will be open until early January at the King Kullen shopping center.

From ribbons and bows to lights and decor, Everything Christmas, which will open Nov. 15 at the King Kullen shopping center in Commack, has it all.

Residents will remember Everything Christmas from two years ago when owners Howie and Pam Frank were located within Borders bookstore in Commack before the bookstore chain filed for bankruptcy in 2011. Now, the husband and wife team are back for the Christmas season with a pop-up store next to Moe's Southwest Grill.

Howie said that he and his wife decided to come back to Commack after spotting the available space during a drive through the area.

"We love this shopping center. We knew it from living in Fort Salonga so we knew it would be a good place," Howie said.

He said that Everything Christmas is a reflection of its name, with inventory from small gift bags and wrapping paper, to blow up decorations, lights, artificial trees and lighted sculptures. There is also a Hanukkah section.

The Franks, who are originally from Fort Salonga and now live in Nesconset, have their flagship store in Freeport, which is open year-round. Everything Christmas in Commack will be open until early January.

There is also a second pop up location within Farmingdale's Airport Plaza.
