Commack Car Wash has gotten a nod of approval for its recent expansions from Smithtown officials on Tuesday.
Smithtown Town Board members voted unanimously to approve legalization of s three expansions and give it the rights to divide itself from the deserted gas station and garage to its west.
Commack Car Wash, owned and operated by Rob Glen Enterprises, previously built three expansions for its hand wash and car detailing business. The towns' decision will allow the business to legally maintain the expansion that measure 805 square feet, 375 square feet and 100 square feet. With these expansions, Commack Car Wash covers 3,564 square-feet.
The applicant states the expansion has brought benefits to the local community, by creating more jobs in the local economy.
