For Smithtown Restaurant Week, What Did you Eat?

Local restaurants filled seats with tasty three-course deals. What were your favorites?

Now that , locals are surely still smacking their lips over the good eats, and great deals they found in the area last week.

So before we let it fade until next year, let's share our favorites from last week's local eating fest.

What was the best thing you ate? Which deal was really a steal? Did everything live up to your expectations?

Let us know in the comments. And if you took any great food pics, share them in the gallery.

My husband and I went to Perfecto Mundo on Saturday. It was his first time there since I went with my girlfriends before and he was raving about it all night. My husband has Celiacs so it can be difficult to not only find a place he can eat, but to find a place he actually enjoys. I even spoke to the manager about throwing his birthday party there next month :)

Yes, try Del Fuego and don't be afraid of breaking the bank. Other than a couple of nightly specials the most expensive item on the menu is about $20...... great homemade salsa with chips while waiting for your food and a huge selection of tequila and beers. maybe I shouldn't be raving about this place because i will have to wait on a table next trip.

Tates in Nesconsett. I had never been there - but I will be back. The short ribs were the best I ever had. Bring your own wine bottle!
