Great Escape: Take a Trip to Xu's Relaxation Station

If moms walked around with pedometers counting their every step, many a mile would be logged.  This season’s weather has contributed to tired, achy feet.  Boots aren’t always the most comfortable footwear in the closet.  When you have some time without the kiddies, even if it is only thirty minutes, head over to Xu’s Foot Relaxation Station. Their 30 min. foot rub will soothe those overworked tootsies and make clunky boots a little more comfy to sport, and at only $15, you won't feel guilty.  As soon as you enter the storefront, a sign greets with a welcoming message: The Quiet Place.  And peaceful it is, as you walk into the tranquil, dimly lit massage studio.  Select one of the plush leather recliners, which flank both sides of the room, and you’ll easily forget the mountain of Legos piled on your den floor.  Each leg, from the knee down, is massaged, rubbed and kneaded for approximately fifteen minutes.  You are encouraged to close your eyes and cherish the attention.   The experience ends with a warm towel wipe of your legs and feet followed by a brief neck and shoulder rub.  A one-hour foot massage, which includes soaking, is available for $26.  Xu’s Relaxation Station also offers body and back rubs and combination packages.  This relaxing time is mommy money well spent.
