Nicks Signs Autographs at Commack Sports Shop

Cardboard Memories hosting New York Giants wide receiver from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who scored two touchdowns Sunday in the team's loss to the Green Bay Packers, will sign autographs Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at , a sports memorabilia shop in the Peppertree Commons Shopping Center on the Jericho Turnpike.

"It's going to be pandemonium," said owner Scott Stimell, who has appeared on Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel and the YES network as an autograph specialist.

"It's already buzzing around here," he said, adding that Nicks may stay until 9:30 p.m. if customers are still around.

Autographs will cost $50 on photos and mini-helmets and $60 on footballs, helmets, jerseys and other equipment.

Stimell said Buffalo Wild Wings will be handing out free food to customers, WALK-FM 97.5 will be on site, and representatives from Dave and Buster's and a local car wash will hand out coupons.

Cardboard Memories has been in business for 20 years, and about three and a half years at its current location. The business spent 17 years in East Northport before moving to its current location at 6401 Jericho Turnpike.
