Workers are starting the beginning stages of construction to put in a craft store next to Sleepy's within the shopping center off of Crooked Hill Road in Commack.
Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft store is expected to open this fall at the shopping center on Garet Place in the same building as Sleepy's and the Guitar Center.
The store offers supplies for fabric-making, sewing, scrap booking, crafts, needle arts, baking, storage, home decor and more.
The two closest locations include one in Cetereach, West Babylon and Holbrook.
