New Business Needed to Fill Out Vanderbilt Shopping Center

An empty storefront within the Vanderbilt Shopping Center is in need of a new business to fill the gap.

The owner of the shopping center was granted a building permit in December of 2012 to make interior renovations and update the building's electric and plumbing system. However, the shop, which is in the same shopping strip as Allstate, The Wedding Center and House of Bagels remains empty.

While the storefront is currently vacant, a new fresh-food market is moving into the former Waldbaum's building on the opposite side of the shopping center.

What would you like to see move into the plaza? What business is Commack missing?
