Plaster Fun Craft Hosting Relay for Life Event

Bring the whole family down to paint, eat pizza and have fun while working to stop cancer.

The American Cancer Society’s Suffolk County Relay For Life team is hosting “Paint for a Cure,” a fundraising event at Plaster Funcraft of Commack on May 3.

Children of all ages and their parents are welcome to join the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer at Funcraft, located at 6333 Jericho Turnpike in Commack, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a $15 donation.

Children will enjoy painting plaster hope ribbons, followed by a Fight Back Party in Plaster Funcraft’s party room to enjoy pizza donated by Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, desserts donated by ShopRite and refreshments.

“Every day thousands of people hear the words: “you have cancer.” They are mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, husbands and wives. They are children, friends, co-workers and neighbors. The American Cancer Society isn’t just looking to save lives; we are looking to save more lives faster. We can’t, however, do it alone. We need your help, your support and your passion to put an end to cancer,” the Suffolk County Relay For Life team said in a statement.
