A new medical clinic will be opening its doors to start seeing patients in Commack on Saturday.
Premier Care Walk-In Urgent Care will be opening its doors to local residents in need of medical care on Saturday at 6500 Jericho Turnpike in Commack Corner Shopping Center.
Premier Care is a medical center that "provides care for life's mini-emergencies," according to its website. It's urgent care center is designed to provide local residents with an alternative to the emergency room when their primary care physician can not be reached.
The Commack location will be offering a variety of medical services from on-site digital x-rays, laboratory testing for illnesses such as the flu or strep throat, equipment to treat common orthopedic injuries and has supplies for wound care, including stitches.
The new medical clinic will provide treatment for patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics. It will be open Monday to Fridays, from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., and weekends from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
