Sprint Store Out of Service [Empty in Commack]

Cell phone retailer shut down suddenly in late February.

Phones are no longer ringing in the King Kullen Shopping Center, as the has suddenly closed.

The cell phone retailer, which was located on Veterans Memorial Highway, shut its doors sometime in late February. The closing took at least one customer by surprise, as Patch reader Hexagon Kay commented, "I went to the Sprint Store in Commack today and was shocked that it was closed.....gone! What happened?"

Despite signs posted on the front doors advertising a nearby East Northport location, the store has closed, not relocated. An employee at the East Northport store confirmed it is separately owned.

Its unclear whether the storefront will stay vacant for long, as new tenants and are sure to attract visitors to the shopping center throughout the spring. Though just a few feet away, the old remains empty.
