Security USA Launches Long Island Office

Following the September 11th attacks in 2001, founder and CEO Rami Hahitti, a former member of the Israeli Defense Forces Special Forces Unit drew upon his training and experience to create a different kind of security company; one that could be more pro-active than reactive, employing highly trained, thinking guards, using the best technology available to maintain safety and security without being overly intrusive in people's freedom and privacy.   Security USA has continued to be a different kind of security company with its nimble management team, willing to make bold moves to better support their customers.

While other security companies cling to their traditional business model, Security USA aggressively pursues the latest in technology to provide optimal support that allows their guards to provide better security with fewer man-hours, thus keeping costs down for the client.  They have recently added facial recognition to their biometric arsenal,  and license plate readers for perimeter control.  They have established their own accredited security guard training program to ensure that guards are optimally trained, and they are in the midst of launching a satellite office in Miami, Florida, to serve the security needs of the Southeast.

As a Long Islander, David Boehm, COO of Security USA recognized the unique security needs of Long Island businesses and spear headed the effort to open the Smithtown office.  He believes that Security USA's expertise and technology will benefit apartment complexes, gated communities and large estates within the residential sector, as well as not for profit, retail, industrial and construction sites within the commercial sector.
