New York's only chocolate sommelier Roxanne Browning, of Exotic Chocolate Tasting, will offer a guided tasting to artisan chocolates from around the world at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the . Register in advance via the library's website.  

As with everything else, our eyes can change over time. Dr. Richard Gotlib, Board Certified Ophthalmologist, will discuss how our eyes work, what changes we may experience as we age and treatment and prevention of eye problems at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Commack branch of the Smithtown Library. Registration is required.

Join the  for their annual Senior BBQ featuring kosher hamburgers and hotdogs and more. Musical entertainment provided by the Vic Vincent Group. Preregistration is required and costs $14 members, $16 non-members. 

The  is held every Wednesday at from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the main concession stand, located at field 1. The toll booths close at 4 p.m. on weekdays, so parking is free.

The Smithtown Town Board will meet on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the senior citizen center. A copy of the agenda can be found on the town's site after 5 p.m. on Wednesday evening
