"Call Me, Maybe" Parody Trend Strikes Commack

Two different Commack student groups have made video parodies of this pop song.

Commack students have been caught up in the "Call Me, Maybe" pop song parody crazy. 

Two different groups of Commack students have produced homemade parody videos of the pop song "Call Me, Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen. Both Commack varsity baseball team and a Commack Middle School girls' sports team have launched videos of their lipsynchs on You Tube, attracting hundreds of hits. 

Commack varsity baseball's video claims its "a dance after a big playoff win." The Cougars won the Suffolk Class AA League 1 championship this season, and mad ea good run in the playoffs.

This Internet trend was started by the Harvard University baseball team, " while on a road trip. The video is features minute of funny, choreographed fist-pumping action while the team's traveling on the road. 

Since it's May 6 debut, the original Harvard Baseball cover has received more than 12 million hits.
