Commack Public Library to Close Briefly for Repairs
Library will be closed starting 1 p.m. on Saturday, and will reopen Monday.
The will be closed for the majority of this weekend for building repairs.
According to a bulletin posted on its website, the library will close starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 16 and will reopen on Monday, April 18.
The repairs will include removing and replacing drywall, applying spackle and painting various areas within the building, said Director Laurie Pastore. They will also be taking time to clean the carpets and upholstery, as well as other maintenance that can only be done while the library is unoccupied by the public.
