  • Main Street's Halloween Festivities allowed children to safely trick-or-treat and enjoy the weather on Sunday, in this Chamber of Commerce sponsored town tradition.

Smithtown

  • Smithtown's School District got into the Halloween spirit, and Patch brought you a video of the festivities.
  • Smithtown West Football clinched their playoff spot with a win on Friday.
  • At the were discussed and residents claim it has a harsh effect on local schools, businesses and every day activities. 
  • In a report by Patch, the Smithtown Central School District enrollment numbers were evaluated and it appears that the school district defies Island-wide numbers with higher enrollments for the past seven years, according to a report by BOCES.
