Jan. 15 is Girls Track, Photography, and Oklahoma!

If you can't follow the Cougars to the Stanner Games in Manhattan, be sure to check out some of these local events.

Start of your weekend with some Cougar pride and plenty of other family-friendly events.

1. :  The varsity girls winter track team will be competing at the Stanner Games at the NYC Armory, starting at 9 a.m. If you can’t make it out to the city, cheer them on from home.

2. :  Last week’s exhibit was postponed to today due to the snow, so head out to the 32nd Juried Photography Exhibition, judged by Joy Goldkind at the at 2 p.m.

3. Make some “Kool Kitties:  Take your three or four year old to the to make a special kitten puppet.  The activity is from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

4. :  Every Saturday night, turns on the black lights and music and offers wild bowling challenges at Xtreme Bowling Night, starting at 6 p.m.

5. Oklahoma!:  See the classic Rogers and Hammerstein musical at 8 p.m. at the at Five Towns College.  Tickets are $25 at the door for general admission, and $23 for students and seniors.
