UPDATE: LIPA Reports 992 Power Outages in Commack, Estimate 9 a.m. Return

As of 9:50 a.m., LIPA restored service to all customers in Commack.

The Long Island Power Authority reported that 992 people, out of 13,167 customers served, do not have power as of Tuesday morning. LIPA estimates that power should be restored to all customers by 9:30 a.m.

As of 9:50 a.m., LIPA reported that service had been restored to all customers.  The outage was located in the Northeast section of Commack, just West of Indian Head Road and North of Jericho Turnpike.
