Stephen Abruzzo takes first in Saturday's sixth annual Running of the Bull in Smithtown.
More than 300 runners came out Saturday for the sixth annual Running of the Bull, with proceeds going to Angela's House and the Courtney Sipes Foundation.
Commack resident Stephen Abruzzo, 41, crossed the finish line first with a time of 17:04:26.
While taking first place, Abruzzo said suporting the charities was paramount to taking first place.

"Courtney Sipes is from my elementary school, where my kids go to school, so it's a great cause, so is all the other causes that we're out here for," he said. "It's always for the charity, it's not for the winning of the race. It's just for the support."
