As Father's Day approaches this Sunday, we recognize dads are one of the first people to offer advice on life. From how to catch a ball to when to change tires on a car, child care to difficult personal matters. 

There's nothing quite like a father's ability to take a situation and put it into perspective for you. 

So in preparation for Father's Day 2012, we'd like to ask: What's the best advice your father gave you? 

We'd love to hear the words of wisdom that your father, grandfather, uncle or other important father-like figures have offered you over the years. It can practical advice or something comical, or perhaps advice that you later remember while saying 'Dad was right.'
