Week in Review: Attorney General Sues Commack Store Over Drugs

A Commack store is facing a lawsuit from the state attorney general for allegedly selling synthetic designer drugs as "head shops." 

Town of Smithtown officials agreed Tuesday that its necessary for them to take action on abandoned properties in the area. 

The Smithtown Zoning Board of Appeals gave a green light to allow PJ Venture Land Developers expand the Cosentino Commerce Center off Henry Street by more than 20,000 square feet on Tuesday night. 

State officials announced a plan is in place to begin cleanup of the hazardous waste plume on Oser Avenue in Hauppauge, that's affecting local groundwater.
