The heirs to the Marion Carll Farm are seeking to regain possession of the historic property donated to the Commack School District more than 40 years ago, and school officials may willingly hand over the deed. 


Two candidates will vie for a seat on Commack's Board of Education during this year's school elections. Deborah Guber, current vice president of Commack Board of Education, will  face off against district resident Daniel Fusco, who handed in a completed petition to run for trustee on April 16

Commack Student Competes on MSG Varsity Talent Show
Matthew Mayer was featured on MSG Varsity's Talent Show  Season 2 on Sunday. Mayer, a singer and guitar player, performed as a individual vocalist against three other competitors, and needs community support to advance to the next round.  


State Senator Lee Zeldin has taken the next step in targeting gas station owners who are charging up to a $2 difference between cash-and-credit pricing at the pump.
