Week In Review: Smithtown Considers Legal Action Against Jody Enterprises

Smithtown town board members voted unanimously Tuesday to table a public hearing on a proposed amendment to town code that would change the limitations on convenience stores based on property zoning and size.

When school officials tried to prevent them as "mere taxpayers," the residents have chosen to fight on instead of backing down.
