Dunkin' Donuts Gala in Commack Raises Money for 8 LI Charities

Event raises more than $160,000 for Long Island Cares, Special Olympics and more.

The philanthropic branch of the Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robins company recently held a gala in Commack to raise funds for eight Long Island charities.

Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation held the Gala two weeks ago at the the Hamlet Golf and Country Club.

The gala raised more than $160,000, which will help support Long Island Cares Food Bank, Special Olympics Long Island, Henry Viscardi School and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The event included a performance by he premiere 9-piece band, Body Heat, and a show by acclaimed magician, Matthew Furman.
