Photos: Chabad of Mid-Suffolk Shines Light On Chanukah

Community celebrated the Festival of Lights at the Chabad's second annual menorah lighting procession.

With glowing menorahs atop their fleet of cars, members of Chabad of Mid-Suffolk took to the streets Wednesday evening to spread light and joy throughout the neighborhood as part of their second annual Chanukah Menorah Lighting Procession.

Members gathered at in the Northgate Shopping Center to begin the procession, with the help of a decorated Commack Fire Department engine. The convoy of cars, trucks and limos traveled through neighborhoods in Commack, Kings Park and East Northport to honor the Festival of Lights.

The celebration continued at the on Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack, as community members enjoyed latkes and doughnuts and children ere treated to a magic show. The event culminated as Rabbi Mendel Teldon lit the menorah.
