Mr. President, you are to be commended for being the Commander in Chief on the day we, the United States, captured and killed Osama bin Laden.
As a former U.S. Marine I can tell you I was very proud to be called a Marine on the day my fellow members of the U.S. Military took swift action to take down Osama bin Laden.
However, as those kudos come from media outlet after media outlet let us keep some important things in mind here... you are deeply against water-boarding and have said as much many times during your campaign to become our Commander in Chief. Yet You, nor the media make any comment as to how that water-boarding got us to bin Laden.
You feel our nation has the right to review the coffins of American Soldiers but you didn’t feel it necessary for the body, the photos or even the final burial at sea of this tyrant should be seen by American citizens.
You campaigned against water-boarding – in which the person lives to see another day and yet you had no problem with our military putting a bullet in the head of Osama bin Laden. In our judicious system the person(s) who assists a murderer is just as guilty as the murderer. So did we let those who were water-boarded get off lightly? Aren’t they as guilty as Osama? Or did the United States military act too aggressively by killing an unarmed Osama?
I do not think Osama bin Laden was killed improperly, in fact I feel he got off too lucky. What he did to our citizens on 9/11 and kept doing up to the day he died, or planned to do was enough to justify his killing. This was not an eye for an eye, this was swift justice against an oppressor; a cold blooded mad man.
The ironies and the hypocrisies of your views have been forgiven by the Liberal Media – again.
Thank you to the US Navy Seals Team 6 and God Bless America.
