He Gave Us His Talent

There is so much to dislike, nay hate about today’s media and the obvious love for spin, inaccuracies and knowing mistruths. But the reason I kept going back again and again to the NY Daily News was Bill Gallo.

He was talented, funny and openly opinionated. He didn’t hide his views, he didn’t hide his love for baseball and he wore his heart on his sleeve when it came to the man’s true patriotism. He loved his country more than he loved an empty canvas awaiting his talented pencil in hand.

In the movie A Bronx Tale the Dad & son talked about wasted talent. Mr. Gallo had not a drop of wasted talent and shared it all with our nation for 88 years!

I am honored to call him a fellow U.S. Marine. Semper Fi!
