I don't know when I remember a more beautiful Autumn! Autumn! The season when flowers and leaving are turning color and dying off, when animals ready themselves to hibernate for winter is the season i come alive! The colors! The scents! The flavors! The crisp air! I truly love it!
Last weekend we ventured to New Paltz on a dual mission, to see the campus with my daughter who will be college bound in September, and also to have our annual fall foliage sojourn. Although the campus was lovely and the mountains were near peak, it can't compare to the wonderful surprise my darling husband and got when we went to Caleb Smith Park last Sunday for a lovely morning walk.
Arriving at the park we were so busy enjoying the chilly morning and as we walked and came to the lake i gasped in awe at the amazing view we saw. Check out the pictures of the glory of our beautiful Autumn on Long Island.
