Raphael DeGennaro, a retired Commack school teacher, died Jan. 3.
According to his obituary, the Hicksville resident was the beloved husband of Joan M. DeGennaro, adored father of Kathleen, Edmund (Julie), Barbara Berg (Karl) and Paul. He was the brother of Vincent L DeGennaro and grandfather of Allyson, Nicole, Samantha and Shaun.
Friends may call Monday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the homas F. Dalton Funeral Homes, Levittown Chapel.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. at Holy Family R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery.
