Armed Pair Robs Commack 7-Eleven

Suspects threatened cashier with handgun, stole cash from Jericho Turnpike store, police said.

Two men robbed a 7-Eleven in Commack last week, police said.

According to Suffolk County police, two men entered the located at 2045 Jericho Turnpike in Commack at 4:32 a.m. on Sept. 7. Once inside, one suspect displayed a handgun and forcibly demanded money from the cashier.

After the cashier complied, the suspects fled through the store's front door with an unspecified amount of cash.

Police describe both suspects to be black males who were wearing hoodies and latex gloves at the time of the robbery.

This marks the second convenience store robbery in as many months. On August 8, the 7-Eleven located at by a who also made off with cash.
