Bank Robbed on Jericho Turnpike

Authorities say a white man in his 50s robbed the HSBC bank Tuesday morning.

At 10:45 a.m. a white male in his 50s walked into HSBC bank and robbed the bank, Suffolk County police said.

The alleged robber walked into HSBC at 5088 Jericho Turnpike in the Pathmark Shopping Center, indicated he had a gun and demanded cash from the teller, who complied. The man was last seen heading east behind the shopping center. 

According to police, the suspect is 5 feet 10 inches tall, with gray hair and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He was wearing a gray NYPD T-shirt, dark pants and a white hat with a blue Ralph Lauren logo on it at the time of the robbery.
