why is this relevant to Commack? We get enough bad news crap in Newsday. The micro aspect of PATCH is the sizzle. is this just "fill" cause we had nothing "newsworthy"?

Newsday of LI is reporting that the SCPD is not charging him with DWI under Leandra's Law which makes it an automatic felony charge when a driver is drunk with someone under the age of 15 yrs. old. I wonder why? And that is regardless if the child is hurt or not, and in this case the infant girl had to be taken to a children'e hospital in New Hyde Park. Something stinks with the arrest. Maybe the driver is connected either through PD somehow or someone else. If he doesn't get charged with the stiffer penalty under Leandra's Law, there is no doubt in my mind that he's getting special treatment somehow.
