Cops: Commack Biz Sold Booze to Minors
State Liquor Authority check Friday night yields three arrests at convenience stores in Northport, East Northport and Commack.

Suffolk County police arrested several employees at three area convenience stores Friday night for allegedly selling alcohol to underage customers.
officers conducted a New York State Liquor Authority check at nine stores spanning Huntington, Greenlawn, Northport, East Northport and Commack.

Employees at the Quick Stop mini-mart, at 6077 Jericho Turnpike in Commack, were arrested along with workers from the , at 670 Fort Salonga Road in Northport, and , at 304 Larkfield Road in East Northport, police said.
Police charged three with unlawfully dealing with a child first degree: Bilal Kocak, 58, of East Northport, an employee at Northport Metro Mart; Erkan Boynuince, 50, of Northport, an employee of Food Star; and Mehmet Akpinar, 46, of Nesconset, an employee of Quick Stop. Each were given field appearance tickets and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
