Cops: Man Broke into Walt Whitman High School

Suffolk County Crime Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man who broke into Walt Whitman High School in Huntington Station on Friday, April 11 . 

Police say an unknown man entered the school, located at 301 Walt Whitman Road, on April 11, 2014 at approximately 3:50 a.m. The man took several photographs and videos of the interior of the school before leaving in a light colored 4-door sedan. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

Glad they got him but I assure you that south hunt board of Ed will do everything possible to cover up what ever they can. They are famous for cover ups! That's what they do best! Don't trust any of them. That is a fact jack!

Hey Mike R: It says UP TO $5,000 reward, which means they could give you 25 cents also. Now, on the other hand, if they were looking for the "King of Clubs" or perhaps the "Jack of Hearts".........

Hahaha yeah, trust me I'm not naive enough to believe that i would have actually gotten the 5k reward. Regardless i would've called it in if they hadn't caught the guy already. News 12 said he was taking A 'selfie' in the halls. It was some sort of a game in his eyes. I would assume comparable to how a graffiti artist leaves him mark on hard to reach buildings. Crazy lol
