Cops: Man Stole From Multiple Stores

Thief shoplifted items from Target and three Kohl's locations, police said.

A Central Islip was arrested and charged with four counts of petty larceny after he went on a shoplifting spree over the course of a month, Suffolk County police said.

Glenn Forster, 39, was arrested at 6:55 p.m. on August 20 in Commack and charged with multiple thefts, according to police. They include:

  • Theft of a vacuum cleaner on August 20 from the located at 4 Henry Street in Commack
  • Stealing a pot and pan set and other assorted merchandise on July 21 from the Kohl's located at 5000 Nesconset Highway in East Setauket and returning the items for store credit
  • Stealing assorted merchandise on July 20 from the Kohl's located at 2040 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore and returning the items for a gift card
  • Stealing a bedding set on July 20 from the  located at 45 Crooked Hill Road in Commack and returning the item for a gift card

Forster was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle with multiple license suspensions.
