Reward Offered for Info on Target Vacuum Theft

Police say a man stole a $400 Dyson vacuum the night before Thanksgiving.

Police are looking for a man who they say walked out of Commack Target the night before Thanksgiving without paying for a $400 vacuum. 

According to police, on Nov. 21 around 7 p.m., a white male who appeared to be in his 30s or 40s, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, took a Dyson 24 Vacuum from the shelf, put it in his cart, and left the store.

Police are offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information the leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential
